The Pegasus West gas discovery lies in the block 43/13b in the Southern North Sea, to the west of the Cavendish field, in a water depth of around 28m (at the well) and makes up part of the Greater Pegasus Area (Pegasus, Andromeda and Browney).
The Pegasus West well was drilled and discovered in 2014. Extensive well testing at the time demonstrated a minimum connected volume of 53BScf and a maximum flow rate of 100MMScf/d. Estimated total recoverable reserves are 83Bcf. The project is currently in Select, with the plan to select the optimum development concept by the end of Q1 2020, and FID early 2021.
