Stuart Jackson is a Chartered Engineer with more than 25 years’ experience across oil and gas, both offshore and onshore, and working in various engineering, project, and operational roles. Stuart joined Centrica in 2007 as the project and engineering manager, working on the early stages of Morecambe simplification before moving into the Offshore Installation Manager position in 2013 and latterly appointed the Onshore Operations Manager and Asset Duty Holder since 2021.

Stuart started working life via an electrical apprenticeship at a local papermill before studying a Beng(Hons) degree in Instrumentation and Control at Teesside University, working with BP and GSK before joining Centrica. As such, Stuart is a strong advocate of career development through apprenticeships, vocational qualifications and providing more challenging development opportunities for people to excel within the new organisation as the business is built on a foundation of people, their skills and passion. As a local lad very much involved in the community, Stuart is proud to be part of Spirit Energy’s rich history in Morecambe Bay and its focus on ensuring this positive legacy continues.
