Ceri Wheaton is Spirit Energy’s Wells and Decommissioning Director, leading the delivery of the company’s decommissioning portfolio. Since joining the company in 2023, she has overseen the safe and efficient execution of complex decommissioning projects, working closely with industry partners to deliver responsible asset retirement.

A graduate in Marine Sciences, Ceri began her career as an Environmental Advisor and has since built 20 years of experience across the energy sector, including more than a decade in decommissioning. Her career has spanned operations, environmental management and project leadership, giving her a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities of late-life asset management.

Passionate about developing high-performing teams and delivering positive outcomes, Ceri combines technical expertise with a collaborative leadership style, focused on enabling people and projects to succeed.
